Workshops

An Equitation workshop was held at the BEC on the 12th of July by the Association of British Equitation and received an overwhelming response from everyone, all who came to watch felt that this discipline was long overdue, the riders who were the "guinea pigs" for the day rode a welcome test a novice and an intermediate test, the open test was left out as these tests are quite advanced.

Judge Karen Nicolas who, along with judge Kate Wrathall explained exactly how the tests were judged to the interested spectators Each rider's position was analysed through flatwork grid work and a short show jumping round with marks given for each phase.

the next workshop will be haeld at Lincomb Equestrian Centre on August 16th
